10 Chrome-ifying Tips and Tricks

Hey teachers! Want to do more with your Chrome browser? Go to the following link from the TCEA Tech Edge blog to find out more about how to get the most out of Chrome in your daily use.

You can use the Chrome browser to

  • save web pages in PDF format
  • make your bookmarks into favicons
  • turn your browser tabs into icons only
  • open recently-closed tabs
  • go into incognito mode to protect your email from spam
  • use control-tab to quickly switch between browser tabs
  • solve mathematical equations
  • play media files
  • bookmark all your open tabs at once
Note: one of the recommendations did not work here at Denton ISD: the Open Multiple Pages on Startup. Our browsing has some controls on it which prevent this from working. I could recommend using the Morning Coffee Extension for Chrome to get around this limitation.
